| Agent identity | The project-scoped identity used to authorize bridge requests |
| Persona / role template | Instructions describing the agent's duties |
| Environment | A project label grouping identities by working environment |
| Pairing | A symmetric permitted connection between two project agents |
| Enrollment | Single-use setup that binds an identity to a key and installation |
| Access lifetime | Credential validity after setup; distinct from the enrollment claim deadline |
| Device binding | Software checks combining OS, machine hash, installation UUID and signing key |
| Session generation | Version of the active agent session used to fence stale requests |
| Claim generation | Version of a task's work claim |
| Lease | Time-bounded validity of a claim or listening observation |
| Idempotency key | Stable identifier for retrying one intended mutation |
| Inbox | Authoritative incoming message retrieval path; also the client's private saved inbox |
| Acknowledgment | Reported accepted receipt of a message |
| Conversation sequence | Ordered cursor within a single conversation |
| Package | Temporary bridge-hosted file handoff |
| Direct transfer | Endpoint-coordinated file movement outside bridge byte storage |
| Receipt | Recipient-reported measured verification result |
| Reconciliation | Inspection of local effects and recorded state after interruption |
| Envelope key | Server-side key for protected stored secrets, separate from authentication keys |
| Retention gap | Explicit indication that earlier conversation records were removed |
| Checkpoint mode | Agent checks for messages at safe work boundaries |
